The Importance of Education
Generally, children are sent to schools when they reach the age of six in order to get education so that they can have good futures. So, why do people need to study? What’s the importance of Education, all in all?
Education has many advantages to all people worldwide. For one thing, education is the main point to development of human resources in every country throughout the whole world. If there is no education, people will not have any knowledge to make themselves, their families and their countries better; in other words, people will start living just like animals, for education is partly what makes human different from other beasts. On the contrary, when people are well-educated, they will have good futures, good jobs, good living standards, and so the economics will grow as well as the human resources in the whole country. In addition to that, people with good education can communicate with each other easily because they are more sensible and they talk more logically than those with poor education. For instance, in the ancient times, people knew practically nothing about education. That’s why they did things rather foolishly, believed in illogical things, and, worse than that, they even killed each other for food. Later on, as human’s mind grew, people started to think better and did better. These are all because of education, because people recorded down what they learned and taught them to later generations.
Also, education has been really helpful to people in these centuries. As you can see, people can invent many new things, such as cars and computers, which make our lives even better than ever. More important than that, people can even predict dangers through the study of the past and present!
In addition to all these miracles above it can make, education can also teach us one thing which is very vital in our everyday lives: morality. People learn not only knowledge required for their future careers; they also study how to behave in the real society. Due to education, people know about the courtesy, how to be polite and respectful to people of all ages, etc. Meanwhile, people understand about love, friendship, optimism, and so on.
All of these examples above show that education actually plays an important role in our daily lives. Therefore, we should grab our chances to be educated when there is still time, and, if possible, we should contribute this knowledge to our later generations so as to develop our country, to make our country glow in glory.

‘Who Moved My Cheese?’ is a psychological book telling a story about four little creatures. Two of them are mice, and the other two are little people. In their daily routines, they wake up early in the mornings and set off to find cheeses in order to support their living. This book is very inspirational and, comparing to our everyday lives, it will surely help you get through to most of the difficult problems both in lives and work because it shows very much like the way we live our lives nowadays. Rather wisely, the author of this book, Dr. Spencer Johnson, chose to represent these four characters in the story to each of the human’s attitude. Talking about vocabularies, there aren’t so many difficult words that you can’t understand. All in all, it is a really good book to read if you promise to apply the advices in this book to your everyday lives. These days in Cambodia, there are lots and lots of people who wear shirts with the Playboy signs. It seems just like that this kind of logo has become popular in Phnom Penh, as far as I know.
One question is: do the wearers of these clothes with Playboy or Playgirl banners really know about their actual meanings or what they are representing to? To be honest, I think most of the people don’t exactly know what they mean and some people who do know about them think that it’s okay and continuing wearing these types of clothes. For the sakes of those who don’t know, I would very much like to explain it to you. Actually, these banners are really the logos of one big erotic magazines American company which publishes monthly all about sex articles and pornography. And for Americans who wear clothes with these logos on, people would think of them as some kind of people who like sex and porn. Worse than that, GIRLs who have Playboy or Playgirl banners on their clothes are generally recognized as bad girls. You can see for yourself if you go to the company official website: www.playboy.com.
All of these above show that people having Playboy banners on their clothes are just like advertising for the Playboy Company. Therefore, you should consider twice about what you are wearing because it can be on the behalf of something, something bad.

Harry Potter series, written by J.K. Rowling, are books about a young wizard, Harry Potter, who spontaneously got a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a famous ancient school in the magical world of all time. At Hogwarts School he met his two best friends who accompanied him to the end of the series, Ron and Hermione. He also, there, met his arch-enemy, Draco Malfoy along with his gangs, Crabbe and Goyle. There he met the headmaster of the school and the famous wizard of all time, Professor Dumbledore. There he found friendship…and hatred. And there he learned magic lessons, witnessed the Forbidden Forest, and there he belonged to. As he learned the truth about his past, about his dead parents who were also wizard and witch, Harry found himself in the middle of an awaken longtime war that had destroyed his entire family. In the end, he had to choose between friendship and revenge, between good and evil, but most importantly, he must find a way to stop the Dark Lord, Voldemort, the one responsible for the dead of his parents, once and for all. But before he got to the moment to face with Voldemort, he had suffered so much, maybe too much for any normal person to bear. However, it’s the choice that makes us who we are, and Harry knew what to do, for the best of him and for the others’ sake. The fate of the entire Magical World rested on his shoulder. These books are bestsellers worldwide and are in the bestselling book list of all time. The series have been translated into many languages, including Khmer language as well!
