ក្ដាប់ លា កន្ត្រៃ រឺក៏គេហៅថា ប៉ាវស៊ីងស៊ុង គឺជាល្បែងមួយដែលមានប្រជាប្រិយភាពទូទាំងពិភពលោក ហើយគេប្រើល្បែងនេះសម្រាប់សម្រេចជ្រើសរើសអ្នកចេញ រឺឈ្នះឲ្យធ្វើអ្វីមួយ ពោលគឺប្រើក្នុងការសម្រេចកិច្ចការត្រូវខុសណាមួយ។ តើវាមានប្រវត្តិមកពីណា?
ដោយយោងទៅតាមពាក្យសម្ដីរបស់លោក វ៉កឃើរ (Walker) បានឲ្យដឹងថា កំណត់ត្រាដំបូងបំផុតនៃល្បែងនេះគឺនៅក្នុងប្រទេសជប៉ុនប្រហែលឆ្នាំ ២០០ មុនគ.ស. ដែលជនជាតិជប៉ុនហៅថា ជេនខិន (Jan-Ken) ។ លោក វ៉កឃើរ បានមានប្រសាសន៍បន្ថែមទៀតថា ល្បែងនេះត្រូវបាននាំចូលទៅក្នុងទ្វីបអឺរ៉ុបនៅកំឡុងពាក់កណ្ដាលសតវត្សទី១៧ ដោយជាប់ទាក់ទងនឹងលោក Jean Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, Comte de Rochambeau ជាឧត្ដមសេនីយ៍បារាំង ដែលត្រូវបានគេបញ្ជូនឲ្យទៅបញ្ជាទ័ពជំនួយលោក ចច វ៉ាស៊ីងតោន ក្នុងសង្គ្រាមបដិវត្តន៍អាមេរិច។ មូលហេតុដែលល្បែងនេះមានជាប់ទាក់ទងនឹងលោក Rochambeau នៅជាអាថ៌កំបាំងនៅឡើយ ប៉ុន្តែគេបានហៅល្បែងនេះដោយប្រើឈ្មោះរបស់លោកគឺ “Rochambeau” រឺ “roshambo” ។
នេះមិនមែនជាទ្រឹស្ដីតែមួយអំពីប្រភពល្បែងនេះទេ។ មានបុរសម្នាក់ទៀតបានគូសបញ្ជាក់អំពីប្រភពល្បែងនេះ ថាមកពីទ្វីបអាហ្វ្រិក រឺទ្វីបអឺរ៉ុបទៅវិញ។ គាត់បាននិយាយថាល្បែងប៉ាវនេះពឹងផ្អែកទៅលើឧបករណ៍ដែលប្រើប្រាស់ដោយមនុស្សជំនាន់មុននៅទ្វីបអាហ្វ្រិក រឺក៏នៅក្នុងទ្វីបអឺរ៉ុបដែលមានដើមកំណើតពីតំបន់ ស្កែនឌីណាវៀរ (Scandinavia) រួចរាលដាលទៅដល់ទ្វីបអឺរ៉ុប រឺក៏ជាល្បែងប្រពៃណីរបស់ជនជាតិ ស៊ែលទិក (Celtic) ដែលឆ្លងទៅប្រទេស ប៉ទុយហ្កាល់ ហើយបន្ទាប់មកដល់អឺរ៉ុប។ ទ្រឹស្ដីនេះត្រូវបានគាំទ្រដោយបុរសម្នាក់ទៀត ដែលគាត់បញ្ជាក់ថា “ការស្រាវជ្រាវក្នុងពេលបច្ចុប្បន្ននៅឯសាកលវិទ្យាល័យលីសប៊ន បានបង្ហាញថាល្បែងក្ដាប់លាកន្ត្រៃនេះ អាចចេញមកពីជនជាតិ ស៊ែលទិក ដែលរស់នៅក្នុងតំបន់ភាគខាងជើងនៃប្រទេសប៉ទុយហ្កាល់ (ជិតព្រំដែនប្រទេស ប៉ទុយហ្កាល់ និងអេស្ប៉ាញ) នៅប្រមាណសតវត្សទី៦មុនគ.ស.។ គេជឿថា ល្បែងនេះបានរាលដាលទៅដល់ឧបទ្វីបអេស្ប៉ាញដទៃទៀតក្នុងកំឡុងពេល៥០ឆ្នាំក្រោយ។ ការលុកលុយនៃពួករ៉ូម៉ាំងក្នុងប្រទេស ហ៊ីសស្ប៉ានៀ (អេស្ប៉ាញ) ក្នុងសតវត្សទីមួយនៃគ.ស. បានធ្វើឲ្យល្បែងនេះមានប្រជាប្រិយភាពនៅតំបន់ ហ្កាលៀ[i] និង អ៊ីតាលៀ (អ៊ីតាលី) ។ ប៉ុន្តែ ពួករ៉ូម៉ាំងពុំបានណែនាំល្បែងនេះដល់ចក្រភពអង់គ្លេសនោះទេ ដោយសារតែពួកគេខ្លាចល្បែងនេះធ្វើឲ្យពួកអង់គ្លេសបះបោរប្រឆាំងតបវិញ។ ល្បែងនេះបានមកដល់ប្រទេសអង់គ្លេសនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ ៣៥០ នៃគ.ស. តាមរយៈពួកប៉ទុយហ្កាល់។
ដូច្នេះមានរឿងរ៉ាវ និងទ្រឹស្ដីជាច្រើនដែលពាក់ព័ន្ធនឹងប្រវត្តិប៉ាវស៊ីងស៊ុងនេះ។ តើវាចេញមកពីអាស៊ី អឺរ៉ុប រឺក៏អាហ្វ្រិក? ចំពោះរឿងនេះខ្ញុំក៏មិនសូវច្បាស់ដែរ។
Is Human Virus to Earth?
On this 4th planet of the solar system, human is supposed to be the smartest kinds of species. That may be true, for according to history, we human beings have created great
and extraordinary things from what we have here on earth and our sharp minds which have been growing since the creation. Because we saw many natural disasters as threats to our species, we tried to find as many ways as possible in order to prevent those cataclysms, in order to survive. As the result, we are winning over nature. That’s a good thing, isn’t it? Then, what about the side effects? We might be able to beat nature, but simultaneously we are also destroying our home as well.
I admit our species are very amazing to have been able to build so many wonderful things with our bare hands and brains. Earth did not give us electricity; we found it out by ourselves. What’s more, we have discovered one of the greatest machines ever found – Computer. To be precise, human mind is developing very fast indeed. However, is this development too fast for Earth? Look around you. Compare today’s environment to the past. Can you see the big difference? Before, we had a nice, quiet, natural environment. These days, our environment is being depleted either slowly or rapidly in accordance of various regions. A world used to be full of beautiful nature has turned into a noisy and polluted world. Maybe we really are the main factor, in other words the main virus, which kills this planet. Just see what we have done to this planet. We cut down trees, hunt down animals to extinction, and pollute the water, the air, etc. The ozone layer which has always been protecting the earth is being destroyed, and the increasing of carbon dioxide, global warming…these all happened because of us. Will the Earth be annihilated because in the hands of human beings?
On the other hand, we also take some actions so as to preserve our environment as much as possible. In order to develop we need the Earth’s resources, and scientists say they are trying to keep the balance between artificiality and nature. Somehow, one way or another, we are still taking benefits and meanwhile using up the natural resources. On my point of view, I should just pick up a proverb saying, ‘In order to gain something, you must throw something away.’ What will be the future of the Earth? No one knows.

កាលដើមឡើយ មានអ្នកសិក្សាម្នាក់បានអានអស់សៀវភៅទាំងអស់នៅលើពិភពលោកនេះ រហូតក្លាយជាអ្នកមានចំណេះដឹងជ្រៅជ្រះលើសគេទាំងពួង ពោលគឺគាត់បានត្រាស់ដឹង។ ប៉ុន្តែក្រោយមក គាត់ក៏យកសៀវភៅទាំងអស់នោះទៅដុតចោល។

Are Ghosts Real?
Superstition isn’t just our contemporary belief; it has happened long ago since the beginning of mankind. This term always sticks to people’s mind no matter what history may go through. Among these beliefs, the one that is most popular and most discussed about is…Ghost. However, according to science, there are no such things as ghosts. Which one of these theories is true?
If you ask someone who is religious or superstitious, they will probably say yes, there really are ghosts. When someone dies, their spirits leave their bodies. Some may go to hell where they will endure miserably, and some may go to heaven where they can rest, eventually, in peace. There are another kind of spirits who continue staying in this world for having unfinished business to be done. Many people worldwide claim they have seen ghosts or even communicate with them. It is most believed that ghosts appear in the dark and only to those by whom they want to be seen. People who claim they have seen ghosts explain their appearance in slightly different ways. Some say ghosts are transparent, white and float in the air. Some say ghosts are big and black with red eyes. Some other people say ghosts are like human form but with messy clothes and inhuman eyes. In all, most-claimed ghost appearance is white and it doesn’t walk on feet; its behavior is strange and the air is cold when you’re near it. Furthermore, there are currently lots of films about ghosts which urge the people’s belief in ghost stronger and stronger.
Nevertheless, scientists certainly deny this belief. Overall, scientists are not supposed to believe in any superstition; they believe in facts and real things that can be proved logically and scientifically. Thus, ghosts are not real, and scientists have come up with a lot of explanations as to why people think they have seen ghosts. One of those theories is that it is all our imagination; in other words, it is all in our head. Those people who said they have seen ghosts did not really see ghosts, they just imagined it. A slogan said this, ‘Your mind sees what it chooses to see.’ Sometimes when you are frightened, your mind is mixed up and you start imagining things. Seeing ghosts is among those times. Furthermore, only in dark that people stated they have seen ghosts. Normally, our eyes cannot see very well in the dark, so it is very easy to see things which are not there or to confuse the things we see to be something else, such as ghosts, other than its reality. For instance, some people may confuse a white shirt in the dark to be a ghost because it floats in the air. In short, there are many other examples which support this theory.
All in all, which one of these explanations is more reasonable, more trustworthy? If you ask me, the only thing that I believe in are the ones which I can contact with any of my five senses. Also, I have never seen a ghost before, so currently I must say I can decide if there is any ghost in this world. If I can see one and know that it is real, then I can prove that it is real. However, I don’t. After all, an opinion is still an opinion, so it’s up to you to conclude.

It’s all about girls
God created Earth, then he created light, day, water, and after all these, he created human. He divided people into two kinds – men and women. What are the differences between men and women? First thing first, so let’s talk about girls.
Girls and boys are the same human being. That’s obvious, isn’t it? Well, actually, girls and boys are pretty much different from each other more than meets the eyes. First of all, girls like talking, mostly about other people’s business. They don’t talk much with boys, but whenever they meet other girls who have the same interests like them, they would, if possible, spend hours after hours to gossip about businesses that are out of their hands.
Secondly, we can’t judge girls by their appearances, according to a slogan that says, “Don’t Judge the Book by Its Cover.” Still, some philosophers suggest that those girls who are beautiful normally have not-so-good characteristics. Nevertheless, that’s not true for all girls, for no ideas are perfect one hundred percent.
Furthermore, girls like doing makeup. That’s right! They willing to spend most of their mornings in their rooms just deciding and choosing what clothes they should wear today. I promise you, no girls will come out of their houses without doing at least a little makeup. Why? Most of them, when asked these questions, will simply reply that they just want to be beautiful or it’s suitable for them to do that. However, the main reason is that they want to be prettier than the other girls in order to attract boys’ attention. They do makeup because they want to make boys love them. Isn’t that true?
In addition to all these facts above, girls naturally want to win any arguments. If there’s a quarrel occurred, they will use their mouths and spit out all the words that come into their heads, sometimes without even knowing what they are talking about because they just want to win. There is one reason why men usually lost arguments with women; that is to say, while boys are arguing, girls are just preparing for the argument.
Moreover, girls are supposed to be one of the greatest weapons of mass destruction in the world. Due to their beauty, girls can easily make men fall for them, like a proverb that goes, “No brave men have ever gotten pass the beauty of girls.” Even a king can lose his crown or even his life because of girls! Many examples all suggest that particular opinion.
And last but not least, girls are far more romantic than men. To be honest, most men are practically not romantic at all, except for some and those who are gays. Men, consequently, just try to be romantic because girls love that. They would go to the candle light dinner with girls instead of their valuable coffee-talk with friends. They would buy flowers for girls instead of buying their precious Playstation. All in all, boys do all these due to girls.
You see? Girls can cause men endless problems. How good life would be if there are no girls! Just kidding! Without either men or women, the other would be nothing. But beware, my friends, of girls. This is a good advice from me who is also a boy. Together, we must prove the proverb “No brave men have ever gotten pass the beauty of girls” it is very wrong. I’m the man, so you’re the man! We must not let our male quality down!
