Khmer Harry Potter!!!
Hello, guys! This is my new page, and also a special one. As few of you have known, my team and I are working on the translation of Harry Potter books, in particular the second book of the series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. First we wanted to publish it into books so that every Khmer people can find one to read. Unfortunately, after some discussion and asking for help from various resources, we decided that this could not be done. I know it’s a little bit disappointing. However, chin up! At least we can post up our translated texts. And here they are, just a click away. You can download all these chapters free, of course. Besides, please let us know if there seems to be any misunderstanding in the texts we translated via either comments or e-mail to our team, which should be harrypotterkhmer@gmail.com . Ok, so i after reading your blog for a little bit, i realize you’re the guy who added me on Facebook. (Did you delete your Facebook?)
Anyway, i’m very impressed with your accomplishment as a 15 year old high schooler. Your English is impeccably good and you’re also competent in Khmer. That’s a combination that’s hard to find here in America, and i didn’t think that people in Cambodia could speak English that well. You proved me wrong. Keep up what you’re doing cus it’s great and i’ll definitely come back to read more what on you have say. Take care!

Yep me too I really impress with your English, I have a hard time to read Khmer after leaving the country well 30 years now. I wish I can read Khmer as fast as I can read English/French. I hope a lot of other Khmer kids follow your steps. In 1993 I went back to Cambodia for the first time and taught C programming at ITC… Hummm at that time I was so discourage by the human resource in Cambodia, it seems at that time Cambodia looks like a lost generation I think it still it but never the less when I left ITC with some programing knowledge to the students.
