Quotes from Novels

I’ve read loads of novels and stories, so there are many interesting and inspiring quotes I’ve learned from those stories. Here are some of those quotes:

  • Nothing’s impossible. The impossible just takes a little longer. (Digital Fortress – Dan Brown)
  • Children are coloring books. You don’t get to fill them with your favorite colors. (The Kite Runner – Khaled Hosseini)
  • There is only one sin, only one. And that is theft. Every other sin is just a variation of theft. When you kill a man, you steal a life, you steal his wife’s right to her husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone’s right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness. (The Kite Runner – Khaled Hosseini)
  • Life is a metaphor. (Kafka on the Shore – Haruki Murakami)
  • You can’t have everything in life. (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – J.K. Rowling)
  • The ones with power are all the same. (Animal Farm – George Orwell)

Well, these are all I can think of for now. If you guys have any fascinating quotes you’d like to share, please feel free to do so.
